About Sam

Samuel L. Moore is the Chief Managing Member of Desert Solutions, a Small Business IT Services Company in Arizona. The company was incorporated in 2000, by Sam and wife Shannon. Since that time Desert Solutions has grown in staff, and client base providing a valuable service to other small businesses in Arizona, the southwest, and even nationwide.

Prior to the incorporation of Desert Solutions, Sam provided services to a small but growing client base in Arizona of relatives, co-workers and business contacts. These services included Web-design, maintenance and troubleshooting, basic PC repair, help or training, and simple network setup and repair. These services grew to include new PC builds, consultation and small business network setup, maintenance and repair.

With Alumni from DeVry and colleagues, Sam took on various projects and jobs on a growing scale until the "side-jobs" outgrew the spare time encouraging the incorporation of Desert Solutions and the taking on of part-time, later full time staff.

Variously described by others as hard-working, sincere, energetic, focused, creative, level-headed, and a great problem-solver, Sam has brought Desert Solutions from a hobby base to a dynamically staffed organization that many other small businesses depend on that has grown in size every year since inception.

Sam was born in 1972, and grew up near Tucson, Arizona where is parents worked for Cypress mining's Duval Mine. After serving time in the Army as a Communications Specialist with Radios and field wired communications, He attended and graduated from DeVry university with a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management, with an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering Science. While in college Sam worked as a Diesel Mechanic and obtained various ASE Certifications and also met his wife Shannon who was in Medical School. Sam has worked in semiconductor as an Engineering Technician for both Equipment and Process, and as a Field Service Engineer for various companies including Lam Research and ST Microelectronics.

Sam has obtained numerous awards and certifications and volunteers in his community for various organizations including Youth Sports coaching, Emergency Response Incident command and crisis aid through Salvation Army.
