Every sale is important to us Yet More importantly, we value every customer and want them to have a good experience.

Be fair when you compare. Look carefully at what is coming with each system and make sure they are an apples to apples comparison.

Often times we hear things from our customers that remind us why we are doing this in the first place...

"Dude!!!" I paid too much!

Moo! I got bad Service!!!

We do not gouge on pricing and we always give top notch service... That is our commitment to you.

 

Competition Shopping???

 

I saw a cheaper computer somewhere...

What about that computer I saw on sale for $699???

 

A list of the basics:

• Look at the fine print... What does it require you to do to get that price.
• Does it come with a monitor? Which type? LCD or CRT. that is a big difference.
• Does it come with a printer? How about a printer cable?
• Does it require rebates? Instant or mail in? Do you have to buy a certain combination to qualify? Does the rebate require a long contract to get it?
• Remember the price you pay is not the price after rebate, You pay the price before rebate, after tax, and then the rebate is returned to you in an indefinite amount of time... IF and only if you remember to send it in and everything is exactly as required to qualify - ie. receipt and box tops, and so-on. The rebate thing is a great gamble for them because they know that they will not pay out half of what is sold on rebates.
• Is the hardware comparable... Remember Desert Solutions sells Name brand - First quality product. You get high quality parts because we are not selling the best profit to you, you are buying great quality and our reputation is important to us.
• Use your good judgement... If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
• The superstore add in the paper? Make sure it is not an open box, or other "used" system...
• Finally, Get the "out the door price". Many times the only way to truly find out the price on the "competitors" web-site unfortunately is to click and pick the PC, click and Pick the options and take the PC all the way to the checkout on their web-site. You will be amazed at how that "$699" computer was really $1000 when they wanted your credit card number...
• Finally, look at the warranty and service. Our PC's come with a warranty as described. What is the cost of their warranty... How is their service?

Desert Solutions goes out on many service calls to repair "in warranty" machines from our competitors that our customer just doesn't want to deal with them anymore... That is sad, even though it benefits us... Keep that in mind.

 

Here is a recent example of a price comparison with a customer who opted to purchase our System:

Benefits of this system over the competitors advertised pricing - CDRW
drive, Optical Mouse, and Floppy are included in my system, not standard in
theirs. If you opt for the CDRW drive, their max speed is 48X, mine is 52x.
The printer with mine is a major selling point. It does everything we were
talking about.

Their "$699.00 after rebate" system was $1683 for you to pay now. Matched
apples to apples with mine including the printer, cable, delivery, tax, etc.
at $1268 + $60 + for 2yr warranty +$ 39 for 80GB HD)

(That is their P4 2.2 Ghz System with 48x CDRW and 60GB HD matched evenly to my P4 2.4 Ghz with 52xCDRW and 80GB HD!)

After $150 mail in rebate and (free) shipping, theirs is $1533.

Mine (Faster System) all total is $1374.

Sometimes it seems like they are cheaper, but compared "evenly" I am usually
well below their price either sale or not.

They are very sure to get you in
the upgrades when you originally went for the good deal!

You will receive excellent service and support with Desert

That is OK! We do want your business, don't get us wrong, but we more importantly want you to be happy and feel good about your PC purchase. If you are convinced and sure that you would be getting a better deal somewhere else, we would like the opportunity to compare our for you, but ultimately, we want you to buy what you want.

It would not benefit us at all to have you buy a PC from us and feel like you got a worse price, or a lesser machine. That does not support out goal of customer satisfaction at all.

So, Be fair when you compare, and relax! You are getting a good value and a great system from us. The Great service you will receive makes the value even better!!!
